Our new Full Coverage skid plate protects the main frame rails, ignition-oil cover & water pump sidecase area. Extra center bolts hardware is included with each plate now.. This is not a lower strength injected molded part like acerbis or cycra. TMD plate weighs only 1-1.2 lbs. Patented forming technique mirrors frame bends for a perfect fit without stress or potential cracks. testing proved that a composite nylon mix with a silicone surface in various thicknesses to work best. This skid plate is 35-40% lighter than most aluminum parts and is virtually impact resistant. Front, middle, and rear mounting hardware is easy to install. lightweight and strong. All hardware is100% replaceable. TMD's frame mount plastic skids reduce sound unlike aluminum parts that usually increase frame rattle and volume. You or your race team can custom tune for differant season conditions with more airflow or lighter weight as you see necessary. Sort of like choosing the right tire for track conditions. Every purchase includes instructions, diagrams, & the necessary special hardware bits to install the plate. Plate is easy to remove and reinstall for oil changes.
